Conditional cardiovascular reflexes
Danilevskii in 1874 showed that in the frontal lobes of the cerebral hemispheres of the brain there is a site of nerve cells (center), regulating the work of the heart. The impact of the cerebral hemispheres is manifested in changes in cardiac activity during emotion.
Cardiac activity and changes in the excitation of the other parts of the brain and brain stem (reticular formation).
The main centers, regulating blood pressure, as it is established in 1886 Bekhterev and NA Mislavsky by direct irritation, located in the cerebral cortex of the brain. With their participation, made mental effects on the heart and on the lumen of blood vessels. All changes of the heart, causing irritation of receptors are in it, perceived subcortical centers and the cerebral cortex of the brain, but only if accompanied by sensations of a malfunction of the heart.
People were formed conditioned reflexes on heart activity, changes in the electrocardiogram, and the expansion and contraction of the lumen of blood vessels.
Conditioned reflexes turn on the cardiovascular system due to a temporary connection between the medulla oblongata and representation of the cardiovascular system and other lil whether congestion in the cerebral hemispheres.
With these reflections the heart and blood vessels adapted to the conditions of existence, varying in accordance with the night many times repeated changes in the external and internal environment.
Related reflex inhibition of cardiac activity in animals whose heart rate is large, is absent, and in animals, in which the heart rate is relatively small, it may be formed (e. g., pigeons, rabbits, dogs).
Cardiovascular conditioned reflexes are formed in the subcortical centers.
