Allergy and Anaphylaxis

Allergy – a perverse response to the animal organism in the re-introduction of foreign proteins, microbes, viruses, microbial toxins, or other substances. This is a complex afterimpression nervous system as a protective and pathological character after the introduction of said allergens.

Allergy is manifested in two forms. Firstly, in the form of acquired immunity. This body, which previously strongly reacted to the introduction of small amounts of microbes or microbial small doses of poison, after repeated administration reacts weaker or stops responding, gaining immunity. Secondly, very often it manifests as allergic amplified response after repeated administration of the foreign protein, whey, microbes or microbial venom – anaphylaxis. This response has both protective and pathological phenomena.

Anaphylaxis is expressed in the fact that a completely innocuous first administering a small amount or dose of microbial substances or the reaction dramatically increases the serum of an animal body such as repeated administration. This is the first introduction of sensitizes the body, ie. A. increases the excitability of the nervous system. Initial dose causing sensitization is called sensitizing and secondary dose causing illness or death, called the resolution. Violations of body functions (shortness of breath, vomiting, convulsions, etc..) With the introduction of the resolution indicated by dose as anaphylactic shock. This shock is caused by dysfunction of the nervous system and is associated with the formation of protein decomposition product – histamine.

Sensitization occurs within 10-12 days and reaches a maximum level 3-4 weeks after the administration of small doses of sensitizing.

If the body is recovered from anaphylactic shock, the nakupalis desensitization – the body reacts in the same way as before the sensitization.

Increased body’s response noted in cases similar to anaphylaxis. For example, a serum sickness, which is observed in the treatment of diphtheria and other infectious diseases; in the form of urticaria – the appearance on the skin itching blisters in the use of food, harmless to other people (crayfish, strawberries, mushrooms, eggs, fish, canned food, etc..).
